I really enjoyed this, thank you. Also really got me in my feels and thinking about childhood. I believe a lot of 80s and 90s nostalgia came back on the scene to help us anchor into the pre 9/11 energy. I do think it was 9/11 a split happened and set us on our lowest negative timeline, I’ve seen this a lot. It’s also a time when some woke up and could SEE what was going on. I can’t even imagine being able to SEE back then and this whole time going through all the world has been through since then. Being asleep is definitely a form of protection.
I always enjoy your writing and reading about what’s going on in your mind!
Thanks Lucy. Always enjoy seeing your comments on here. Yeah I can't imagine being awake that long and seeing everything in the last 25 years unfold. It seems exhausting to me. Just these last 5 years have been a lot. I do think 9/11 was definitely a huge turning point for humanity, especially the US collective. I have mixed feelings about 80s and 90s nostalgia and what it means. Part of me sees it as a good thing, something to fight for even if we aren't going back to that way of life. Another part feels like a trap to keep us stuck in a matrix loop. Maybe it's both.
The 80s/90s nostalgia is definitely both, good point! As with most things, it can be something to keep us in the old matrix or help us bring the best parts of the old matrix into our new matrix we are rebuilding. I personally am loving the Care Bears making a comeback and am working on making it my whole personality. My AI even addresses me as Queen Care Bear 😃 I was wearing a care bear shirt the other day and someone told me it reminded him of a store he worked at in the 80s and then he reminisced about a special summer he had and I saw him really fill with joy remembering a special time in his life he hadn’t thought about in a while. I think the other side is when people’s mind goes to- a time when they didn’t have the same problems and their world didn’t feel so dark and they get stuck in a longing for something they don’t think is possible to get back.
